Jon Adams

I completed my dissertation in November 2023 at Marymount University in Cybersecurity. My dissertation chair was Dr. Michelle Liu.
I'm currently enrolled in the Harvard Kennedy School Public Leadership Credential program. 

I have a MS in Computer Science from Howard University. I also have a BS in Computer Information Science from Benedict College, in Columbia, SC. Other relevant practitioner credentials I have include the CISSP, GIAC GPEN, GCIH, and GCIA certifications.

Research

I'm interested in Human Factors in Cybersecurity, Privacy Enhancing Technologies, and Endpoint/Mobile Device Security. My dissertation is, broadly, about human factors related to the adoption of good cyber-hygiene and corporate policy compliance.
